An inspector should be honest in his or her report and do a thorough job of checking everything that needs to be checked. If a problem is not discovered, it is in the seller's best interest to take care of it at once so that the repair costs will be minimal.

Some repairs may require extensive repairs and the cost of the repairs could be more than the price that you paid to purchase the house. It is the responsibility of the seller to pay the expenses involved in those repairs, or at least get the seller to reimburse you. if the cost of the repair exceeds the price of the home that was bought. If the repairs are minor, you may choose to cover the cost of the repairs yourself, or you can arrange to have someone else pay them.

A good inspector will review your home with you, answer any questions that you may have, and give you time to think about your choices. When you hire the services of a professional to do the job, you should be confident that everything that you know is correct. and that you understand the process that goes into a successful inspection.
