Arched Driveway Gates - How Popular Are They?
It has been said that Birmingham's Arched Driveway Gates is perhaps the most popular among the types of gates in the city. But in fact, there are many other well-known gateways in the city that might be a little bit unique.
A.C. Bernaysbeck Drives (Steep Hill Drive) - The Driveway Gates of Berniesandersbeck Drive is made from two large "airbricks" in a manner that forms a diamond shape. Its appearance is very similar to that of one of David Copperfield's stage props.
Brooks Drive - A small driveway in the Forest Park region of Birmingham. The largest feature here is the Arched Gates.
Frederic Mansion - This mansions located on the north side of Cathedral Lane in Birmingham. The Gates here have featured an arched design. This is apparently one of the most popular driveways in the City.
Harrison Avenue Drive - A beautiful driveway in the Old Courthouse Square. The Gates here consist of a rectangular shape. Harrison Avenue Drive is believed to be one of the best known driveways in the City.
Mallards Creek Drive - Mallards Creek Drive is located near the western outskirts of Birmingham. These gates have been around for many years now. It was started in 1920 by William L. Mallards.
Brister Street - This is located in the Pinnacle Estate in the far west side of Birmingham. Brister Street Gate is also called "Garden Gate". It features an arched design and has a separate entrance.
Broadlands Drive - This is located in the northeast area of Birmingham. Its arched doors can provide security for any one wishing to stroll around the homes and garden on this drive.
Decatur - This is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Hills. With its arched doors it is believed to be the only driveway that can provide this type of protection.
Benjamin Robinson Drive - The Gates on this drive seem to be usually locked up during the day, but the designers have made provisions for nighttime use. There are some distinct appearances here.
Birmingham's Arched Driveway Gates was built in the same manner as those found on the West Side. They contain large "cracks" which are joined together and have steel supports within them.
Their number of arched driveways seems to have increased since their debut, while the popularity of these Arched Driveway Gates has grown even more. Some users choose this as their main gate, though others may choose to use one of these gates for their backsplash gate.
